Discography
The Holiday EP (2003)
This free, limited edition album was released on December 15, 2003 and made exclusively available to members of the Brand New Street Team. Only 1000 copies were ever pressed and members of the team only had to pay shipping costs in order to obtain it. It is considered an extremely rare collector's item by fans of the band.

The disc contains two acoustic performances: "The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot" and "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows", both of which were originally from the second Brand New album, Deja Entendu.

Deja Entendu (2003)
Vastly different to their first release, Your Favorite Weapon, Deja Entendu was positively received by critics for the meaningful songs and lyrics. Deja Entendu is French for 'Already heard' (much like the term 'deja vu' meaning 'already seen') and is a commentary on modern rock. The lyrics in this album are much more paranoid, fearful and angry. Two of the songs deal with almost non-consenual sex. Two singles were released from the album: "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows" and "Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades".

Your Favorite Weapon (2002)
The album consists largely of power chord-heavy pop punk songs, detailing the highs and lows of teenage relationships and experiences. It made little impact critically and was widely received as a typical pop punk release for the time—albeit with slightly more intelligent lyrics than those of the band's contemporaries.

The band also stated on numerous occasions that they weren't entirely happy with the recordings of the songs, and in 2002, re-recorded "Jude Law And A Semester Abroad" and released it for free on the Internet.
