It is the second album on the record label, Vagrant. The album shows a slight departure from the traditional "From Autumn to Ashes" sound. The CD has an increased focus on drummer/vocalist, Francis Mark. The lyrics on this album also differ from previous releases in that there is a shift towards lighter more hopeful lyrics. However, the album retains traditional "From Autumn To Ashes" style in its contrasting of harsh and loud sounds versus lighter melodies. Contrary to their previous two albums, Melanie Wills of One True Thing is absent on this release.

Overall, it possesses a more melodic sound than its predecessor, featuring a larger focus on Fran Mark's singing presence. However, the album still retains the intricate dual vocals that initially earned the group widespread attention. Melanie Wills of One True Thing makes a guest appearance once again, contributing her vocal talents.

The album is unique in that it features the dual vocals of Benjamin Perri and drummer Francis Mark. Perri provides the hardcore-esque shouts while Mark sings and occasionally contributes background screams. This style was very innovative at the time, and earned the band widespread praise.
