| Biography
From First to Last are an American Post-hardcore band. They are based in Los Angeles, California. From First To Last, sometimes referred to as "FFTL", originally started as a high school pop-punk band called First Too Last, fronted by current guitarist Matt Good. Later on, they added a second guitarist, Travis Richter. By the time they came to recording their first EP Aesthetic Phil Reardon (vocals) and Joey Brandon (bass) joined the group.
Reardon left the band citing musical differences right before the recording of Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Bodycount. After Reardon's departure Sonny Moore joined the group to take over vocal duties at the age of 15. Brandon was replaced as bassist by Jon Weisberg as well. With this lineup, the band recorded Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Bodycount.
In late 2005, Weisberg was kicked out of the band for reasons that remain unknown. The band does not yet have a full-time bassist, however Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit) recorded bass for the new album and toured with the band during Winter 2005. Also, Alicia Simmons, who is engaged to My Chemical Romance bass player Mikey Way, played bass for the band on their Dead by Dawn 2 Tour.
They're currently about to play the Vans Warped Tour 06 as one of the headlining acts. Afterwards, they've talked about doing a fall/winter tour with Wes Borland's band Black Light Burns, on which Borland will also play bass with FFTL, who are planning on being a four-piece for now.
