Blog from Eron of HH
What's up everyone?!!! This is our first tour blog in awhile, so bare
with me as I stumble through this and get my fingers working again.
We've been out on Projekt Revolution for a little over week now and
we're having a blast. While we haven't met any of the mainstage bands
(I don't count Chris Cornell walking in on me taking a shower as
officially "meeting"), everyone on the Revolution Stage is totally
cool! The crowds have been awesome. We're playing for a a half hour
every day and mixing things up with music from each of our three
albums! After we're done playing we go do a signing for about an hour
at the Music For Relief tent...make sure you check them out if you're
coming to Projekt Revolution, because its a great cause that we totally
back...and you'll get to meet us!
After the show (and sometimes before) we do nothing but play
Halo 3. We've got two Xbox 360's setup on the bus, one in the front
lounge and one in the back. We've stepped it up in terms of
competitiveness and nerdiness on this tour. We've actually been keeping
track of our stats on a spreadsheet created by Micah. Surprisingly, and
I'm not trying to toot my own horn here, I'm just honestly baffled as
is everyone else on the bus, but I'm in the lead as far as Kill/Death
ratio. I was easily one of the worst players while we were in the
studio and I can't really account for my improvement other than the
readjustment of the sensitivity and two days worth of playing on Xbox
Live before I left for tour. Weird...
Anyway, there's only 10 days left until our new album Fragile
Future actually comes out! This is a HUGE relief for us. We've been
through hell and back to make this album and we couldn't be more proud
of it. This is our best album so far and hopefully you guys will feel
the same about it once you hear it! There's probably half a dozen
places you can pre-order it if you should choose, one of those places
including iTunes.
Oh, we also have several off-day shows where we'll be headlining and
playing extended sets. Joining us will be Armor For Sleep, so make sure
you check those shows out if we're coming to your area!
Oh...also, sadly we will not be playing the West Palm Beach show of
Projekt Revolution. We're sorry for anyone who was expecting to see us,
but we have to fly to LA to debut our video for Rescue Me on F'N MTV.
We'll make it back down to south Florida this Fall...promise! Make sure
you check out the new video!!!
See you all soon!
Eron
