Brief Biography
My Chemical Romance is an alternative rock band that formed in New Jersey in 2001. The current members of My Chemical Romance are Gerard Way (lead vocals), Mikey Way (bass), Bob Bryar (drums), Frank Iero (rhythm guitar), and Ray Toro (lead guitar). While many consider them to be emo, the band (and some of their listeners) deny it. In a recent interview, lead singer Gerard Way said: "I don't think emo ever fit us...even in the beginning...maybe geographically, but at that time, when we would play VFW halls...we were always odd man out."

The Black Parade is Dead! is coming. We are really proud of it and hope

yeah i went to the allentown fair and i stood in line for hours and cried
because mcr couldnt make it. well i hope that bob gets better thats all that

i was so upset, my best friend promised to take me to the mcr concert, but
instead she took another friend who only knows a couple of songs, and the dude
she had a crush on who only knew three songs, then after i missed the concert i
found out, my parents reserved tickets for me but cancelled when they found out

They went through a time in there Bullets and Three Cheers era where they could
be mistaken for emo, but not now.
