USED SHOW TO BE RESCHEDULED
The Used show in Worcester, Massachusetts on Thursday September 13 is going to be rescheduled for the next leg of The Used Headline tour in Late January/Early February 2008. The exact date will be announced shortly. Health issues was given as the cause of the reschedule. The Used apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. No other tour dates will be affected. Bert McCracken in Surgery
Bert McCracken has just been advised to undergo surgery because he has developed a node on one of his vocal chords. The band has been forced to cancel their shows on all upcoming dates during June and July, including the Van's Warped Tour. Doctors say he will be able to sing again after five weeks of full rest. Vocalist Bert McCracken went to the doctor today for an extremely sore throat and his inability to talk or sing. The doctor discovered an abnormality on Bert's vocal chords and has ordered him not to sing or talk for the next four days because of severe swelling in his throat and the potential that singing with the abnormality could potentially cause permanent damage to his vocal chords. Branden leaves The Used
A note from The Used...
"Dear Friends.
It is with much sadness that we want to tell you that Branden is no longer the drummer in The Used. We felt that we needed to move forward without Branden as our drummer. We wish Branden well, and owe a great deal of gratitude towards him for his hard work over the years. We could not have gotten this far without him.
We all wish much happiness and success in Branden's future endeavors - wherever they may lead.
